Organization: Kenton County Parks and Recreation
Kenton County Parks & Recreation (KCP&R) is hosting its annual frightening Halloween Happenings Haunted Trail on Friday, October 15th from 7 P.M. until 10 P.M. at Middleton-Mills Park. Admission and parking will be available at the football field.
The Haunted Halloween Trail is a quarter-mile long filled with fright and drama! Ghosts, goblins, witches, and creatures are ready to frighten those attending! The recommended age is six years old and above, but it is at the parent’s discretion whether or not their child is age appropriate for the Haunted Halloween Trail. The purpose of the trail is to scare.
Kenton County Parks & Recreation is in need of volunteers to help set up and work the trail the night of the event to help make it as spooktacular as possible! Ghosts, goblins, witches and creatures are requested to help frighten those attending! KCP&R is requesting adult volunteers. Children, over the age of 13, with adults are permitted but the adult MUST remain with the child throughout the event.
KCP&R tries to make this a theatre production and the spookier the better. Even if you do not want to haunt the trail, there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer. Areas that need help include:
- Setting up and work the event
- Directing traffic and parking
- Managing the haunters and sound effects on the trail
- Decorating the shelter house and setting up the graveyard
- Managing check-in
- Even if you’ve haunted the trail or volunteered in the past, we need you to confirm your participation.
