Gorman Heritage Farm is a 122 acre non-profit working farm with a mission to educate on sustainability, nutrition, agriculture, and the environment. We are in need of help planting native plant seeds and native trees on our farm in hopes of helping our pollinator population thrive. We have partnered with the Cincinnati Zoo and the Zoo will be starting the day with a short Power Point and lecture on what plants and trees are best for our native pollinators and why that is important. They will also have tips for planting your very own pollinator garden at your own or in your community. Families are encouraged to come and there will plenty of planting work for all ages that day. We hope that you will join us on our beautiful 122 acre non-profit farm to help us in making it as pollinator friendly as possible.

How This Helps Our Community

This project will hopefully make a big impact on the amount of pollinator gardens planted in our area. Showing families the right plants to plant along with why it is so important for them to plant for our pollinators. Without pollinators plants do not grow. It is crucial that we all play a role in protecting them.
