Lecture: Creating a Climate Oasis

To avoid climate change depression, we can all act on varying levels to spur progress and a feeling of inclusion. This is Doug Crouch's philosophy of continually doing both his individual actions and engaging community to positively affect climate change. His site, treasure lake, is a 60 acre regenerative education center and working farm and forest. The site gives space for a climate positive action only 30 minutes from downtown Cincinnati.

This presentation highlights the work of Doug Crouch, international permaculturist and daap adjunct professor, at his local site of treasure lake in Petersburg, KY. He has managed this site for 20 years in and amongst his global travels for permaculture work and communal living. He is the author of an open source online permaculture book, www.treeyopermacultureedu.com
