OVERVIEW:

Join us for a virtual tour of two LEEDv4 certified branch libraries of the Indianapolis Public Library. Architects, Engineers, Interior Designers, Building Owners, Community Members, Students

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Discuss various ways that a branch library can address the needs and reflect the values of the surrounding neighborhood.
  • Define how high-performance and environmentally responsible building design and construction practices benefit the patrons and stakeholders of public libraries.
  • Explain the value of LEEDv4 BD+C as a tool to ensure that the sustainability goals of a library are realized in the branch facilities.
  • Identify specific strategies and solutions that helped each branch library fulfill the intent of critical LEEDv4 BD+C credits.
