Guest Speakers

Join a triumvirate of expert Cincinnati 2030 District Processional Partners describing the technical dynamics of using demand-controlled ventilation to increase outdoor air in commercial buildings and the impacts increased ventilation has on combating COVID-19 and energy performance. The virtual workshop supports the Cincinnati 2030 District's mission to achieve 50% energy reduction targets by 2030 while improving occupant health outcomes associated with indoor air quality. 


Tim Foster, Director, Strategic Accounts, has been with Siemens since 2007 and in the building automation and energy efficiency industry for 30 years and has served in various local and regional positions focusing on new construction, service, technology, and energy efficiency retrofit projects. He currently manages key account relationships in Fortune 500 and Higher Education markets collaborating on digital transformation solutions for the built environment. Tim earned a B.S. degree from West Virginia University, and is qualified as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and LEED accredited professional.

Matt Meyer, joined Melink Corporation in 2015 and currently manages operations and quality for Melink Corporation’s HVAC Test and Balance business. In his time at Melink he has served in operations, sales and management roles. Matt has a strong background in leadership and construction. He holds a degree in construction engineering technology from the University of Toledo.

Jeremy Fauber, PE, CGD, LEED AP BD+C, Heapy Engineering. Jeremy has worked as a consultant engineer for over 17 years, focusing on healthcare design for 10 years and is an expert on geothermal system design. As a senior mechanical engineer, Fauber has been involved in construction projects throughout Ohio with budgets as large as $200 million and numerous U.S. Green Building Council LEED projects, including the first LEED Gold hospital in Ohio, Diley Ridge Medical Center, along with multiple LEED certified projects for the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission. He has been instrumental in implementing new approaches and technologies in the company’s diverse projects and providing assistance and guidance to other engineers. He is heavily involved in ASHRAE at the local chapter and society levels. He was one of the contributing authors to ASHRAE’s HVAC Design Manual for Hospitals and Clinics, Second Edition, and is currently a voting member of ASHRAE Standard 170: Ventilation for Healthcare and ASHRAE Standard 189.3: Design, Construction, and Operation of Sustainable High-Performance Health Care Facilities.  In his spare time, Fauber is active in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Miami Valley and his local Society of St. Vincent de Paul conference.
