Organization: Gorman Heritage Farms

Saturday, June 19th , 2-3:15pm

Stroll through the garden as we forage blooms and learn the secrets of harvesting flowers for food with Master Gardener, Allyson Ernst. Taste the season's blooms as we learn to steep them into a tea that we can sip on and pair with a sweet treat in this family-friendly afternoon tea. Guests are welcome to dress up for the occasion if they would like! Come prepared to walk for about 30 minutes on paths and grass for the foraging walk.

About the teacher:

Allyson Ernst has been gardening since she could walk and has always had a life-long love of learning, so she made it official by joining the ranks of the Master Gardeners. She loves to explore, experiment, and teach others. Allyson works for the Great Parks of Hamilton County and the MetroParks of Butler County teaching children and adults about what they find in their backyard. Now Allyson shares her knowledge with others and encourages them to experiment in their own kitchens.

Preregistration required.
