Learn the tricks and benefits to inviting butterflies into your outdoor space in this outdoor talk and guided walk. Steve Inglish will discuss the importance and benefits of integrating native habitat into our home landscapes and provide an overview of key habitat requirements you’ll need to create your own butterfly and pollinator garden. He’ll explore resources to help you transform your yard into a caterpillar nursery, as well as how to certify your yard as a wildlife habitat.

Steve Inglish, BS, MS; a long time Cincinnati Nature Center volunteer and team leader of the Nature Center’s butterfly monitoring program. He serves as a National Wildlife Habitat Ambassador and is an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist. He has delivered pollinator and habitat-related talks for audiences ranging from garden clubs and churches to the Cincinnati Nature Center, Civic Garden Center and the Midwest Native Plant Society.

Preregistration required. This program is designed for adults.
