Organization: Cincinnati Parks
Join Cincinnati Parks for a ceremony to officially cut the ribbon on Eden Park’s newest attraction, Tom Jones Commons. Thanks to a generous donation from Tom Jones, and support from the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, the field in Eden Park near the historic water reservoir has been transformed with a variety of exciting features including a new walking loop around the perimeter of the field, a natural play environment (made by Cincinnati Parks Staff using downed trees), a shelter, new landscape, wetlands and a boardwalk and a welcome kiosk depicting the rich history of Eden Park.
The project has also created a new walking loop around the perimeter of the field extending up to Mirror Lake, and providing a pedestrian connection to Seasongood Pavilion and beyond to the Art Museum and the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.
WHEN: Friday, July 23, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Ceremony is at 10:15 a.m.)
WHERE: Tom Jones Commons (Eden Park off of Martin Drive below Mirror Lake).
